General Questions

Do you offer setup and support services?

We have partnered with our web developer, Priceless Consulting LLC, in order to provide our Vendors with an amazing setup and support package.

We offer 2 options:

One-Time Setup Fee of $199:
Complete setup of your vendor store to include up to 5 products to get you started. After setup, vendor is responsible for updates and adding/removing product.

One-Time Setup Fee of $149 and $99/Month (Best Value):
Complete setup and management of your vendor store to include up to 20 active products at a time. This is the best option for the less tech-savvy, as our developer team will ensure your store stays updated and all you have to do is send them pictures and prices!

What are cost and fees for selling on this site?

There is no upfront cost! Room Come True LLC will receive 15% of the purchase price before taxes after the sale is made.

Do I need to provide delivery?

Yes. you will have to provide the delivery/pick-up arrangements with your customer.

It is the vendors responsibility and not Room Come True’s responsibility to arrange the delivery of the product. However, Room Come True can assist with deliveries in the Central/Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland Areas.

As we grow we will be adding more areas into our shipping assistance programs. 

Can I use multiple platforms of sale along with this site?

Yes you can sell on other sites, such as Craigslist or Facebook. However, we dedicate ourselves to bringing clients to you and your products with the use of our platform. 

How do I become a Vendor

What are the quality standards set for becoming a vendor.

All submissions must have a detailed list of work done to the item including paints and stains used. Before/After pictures of items that have been refinished are preferable. Must have all working non-mismatched hardware* and no missing parts. 

*drawers and doors must open and close with ease and be aligned. No loose or broken legs, screws, knobs and handles. 

How do I receive Payments?

All vendors will be paid weekly* via PayPal. On a case by case basis we may make exceptions to this policy.

*Federal Holidays may cause a delay up to three days.

Can I sell new furniture on this site?

We only allow refurbished and/or reclaimed furnishings on this site. other than upholstered chairs or couches.

 

We are looking at the possibility of adding room accessories section where you can sell  Pillows, Lamps, Vases, Pictures, etc.

 

Are Vendors held to a company customer service policy?

We have all Vendors agree to operate and abide by Room Come True’s Customer Service policy which can be seen at the top of this page.
